The North Dakota Lawn Mower Racing Association performs at fairs, festivals, fund raisers, civic functions, community events, or whatever you might like us to perform at. For more information on hosting a race, please see the Contact Page or visit the Contact link bottom of the page.
The NDLMRA is a fun loving bunch dedicated to providing entertainment for your civic function or fund raising event. Yes we are all dedicated racers, but putting on a show for your event is what we're all about. Essentially we are a traveling circus, driven by the desire to entertain your crowd while enjoying the fastest growing motorsport globally.
Think lawn mower racing is bound to be dull and boring; guess again folks! This is not your average backyard lawn mowing mowchine we're running at these events. All of our racing mowchines are highly modified versions of their lawn mowing cousins. Lawn mower racing is not slow by any means... Yes, we do have classes for beginners, or quite simply those not inclined to want to drive insanely fast on a lawn mower, and we do open the track up to any locals that want to join the show on their stock mowers, but most of those that do race, run mowchines capable of speeds anywhere from 25 to 60 mph! Think 25 mph isn't fast? Then consider the average lawn mower race track only runs 500 - 700 feet in length, with 120 to 160 foot straights. Still not convinced?? Then come out and watch a show! Better yet, build a track and host a race, or build a mower and join us!!
Interested in joining the North Dakota Lawn Mower Racing Association? By all means contact one of our members. Lawn Mower Racers are as a rule very proud of the work put into their lawn racing mowchines and they'll be more than happy to talk your ears off about Lawn Mower Racing! One of the biggest draws to this sport is the fact that it is the cheapest form of motorsport you will find.
